Status: common and widely distributed
Typical habitat: woodland, parkland, gardens
Larval foodplant:Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â mainly Poplars and Aspen, but also frequent on Goat Willow
Flight behaviour: flies at night, but comes to light
Flight season: May - July, August - September
