Status: common and widely distributed
Typical habitat: almost anywhere with suitable food plants
Larval foodplant:Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â sallows, willows, poplars and Aspen
Flight behaviour: flies at night, but readily comes to light
Flight season: April - June, July - August
