Status: local across the south, including Wales, south Midlands and East Anglia
Typical habitat: woodland and parkland, especially with mature oaks
Larval foodplant:Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â various trees including oaks and conifers
Flight behaviour: typically flies at night, but comes to light
Flight season: July - September
